NIEM Signs MOU with SAMU and IRESU

National Institute for Emergency Medicine Signs MOU with SAMU and IRESU to Strengthen Thailand's Emergency Medical System to International Standards

          On February 21, 2025, Flt. Lt. Atchariya Pangma, Secretary General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM), along with Dr. Thomas Loeb, Head of SAMU des Hauts-de-Seine in Garches, and Dr. Michel Baer, President of IRESU, signed a collaborative academic agreement on emergency medical services between the National Institute for Emergency Medicine and SAMU des Hauts-de-Seine AP/HP, as well as cooperation in emergency medical services between the National Institute for Emergency Medicine and the Institut de Recherche et d’Enseignement des Soins d’Urgence (IRESU) of the French Republic.

 

   

 

          The collaboration with SAMU des Hauts-de-Seine AP/HP aims to enhance the capabilities of Thailand’s emergency medical services, including the development of personnel, organizations, and related networks.

          Meanwhile, the partnership with IRESU, a registered and certified non-profit organization focused on training and research at SAMU des Hauts-de-Seine AP/HP, aims to provide logistical support for various missions under the collaboration between the National Institute for Emergency Medicine and SAMU des Hauts-de-Seine AP/HP to develop Thailand's emergency medical system to be efficient and on par with international standards.
