'Kemrex' announces a major event called '88 Green Day'
"Kemrex" organizes a seminar to exchange knowledge, highlights innovations for a low-carbon society, and announces a major event called "88 Green Day"
In an era when sustainable development is at the heart of every industry, Kemrex Co., Ltd. is driving its business towards sustainability through "Green Construction Technology" concept, which promotes the use of environmentally friendly technologies and construction innovations. Kemrex is organizing a seminar titled "GREEN CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY FOR LOW CARBON SOCIETY" at International Engineering Expo 2024, as well as a major event, "88 Green Day," on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at The Banquet Hall at Nathong.
This seminar brings together experts from various deciplines including engineering, architecture, and construction material innovation networks, to share their knowledge on environmetally friendly construction practices. The emphasis is on lowering carbon dioxide emissions and improving resource efficiency for long-term sustainability. The seminar attendees share a common perspective. Duke Bhanudej Vatanasuchart emphasizes the current importance of environmentally friendly construction. He has been working in home decoration and gardening but has not considered the environmental impact of his actions. Until he met Kemrex, he had learned about a variety of impacts, particularly global warming, which makes life more difficult. He realized that we could help protect the environment in a variety of ways, including using clean energy, natural energy, and environmentally friendly innovations. For example, using Kemrex products for pile installation and tree support can reduce carbon emissions without having to concern about noise pollution and construction dust. Kemrex is addressing these key issues.
Associate Professor Dr. Sarawut Charitangam, the Chairperson of Bachelor of Engineering program, Department of Civil Engineering ,Faculty of Engineering Prince of Songkla University, highlights the importance of the Green Foundation For Green Construction which means reusing materials in construction to create ‘green buildings’. He believes that anything that can be reused is considered useful. Kemrex's structures are reusable and long-lasting, made from strong and safe materials that are easy to install. The flexibility of Kemrex materials allows installation in narrow spaces and at any angle, addressing the ‘Reuse’ and ‘Remove’ needs effectively. The product can be reinstall and relocate anywhere, making Kemrex’s product environmentally friendly and aligning with ‘Green Construction’.
Associate Professor Dr. Ponthep Meunpong, a faculty member from Department of Silviculture, Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, who has experience in tree care and conservation in construction sites discussed the importance of changing traditional tree support methods, which often use short-lived materials such as wood, steel, or concrete. Research with Kemrex significantly shown that construction in Thailand often overlooks tree preservation. Trees are often the last consideration, and setting worker camps or pouring concrete during the construction eventually kills trees. He stated that they are putting effort to find the environmental friendly practice. The collaboration research with Kemrex on combined between arboriculture and engineer aims to create and preserve green spaces at the construction siteห. He expressed concern that if urban green areas are reduced, there will be negative environmental impacts. The faculty and Kemrex are collaborating to preserve and increase green spaces.
Mr. Pravaruj Thammanoonkul, Sales and Marketing Manager of Kemrex Co., Ltd., shares the entrepreneur’s point of view on the challenges and opportunities of adopting green construction technology. He stated that Kemrex is a small puzzle piece in the construction industry committed to using technology to reduce construction complexity and carbon emissions. Kemrex values quality and customer satisfaction through continuous research and development, focusing on green construction techniques and innovations that minimize environmental impact, efficiently use resources, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance construction efficiency. This sustainable approach includes developing Kemrex products that meet 'Reuse' and 'Recycle' goals. Apart from developing materials, Kemrex is also emphasizes 'Re-engineering,' utilizing old buildings without creating pollution and reducing construction waste.
Mr. Prasert Thammanoonkul, CEO of Kemrex Co., Ltd., added that the seminar is part of Kemrex's effort in combined between arboriculture and engineer, a collaboration among arborists, engineers, and design artists to promote Green Construction. This approach integrates construction with green space preservation and lower carbon emissions, as construction activities significantly contribute to carbon emissions. If we can reduce carbon emissions, it means we are helping to preserve the planet.
"In addition to today's seminar, Kemrex will organize the '88 Green Day by KEMREX,' bringing together construction professionals, including architects, engineers, university professors, businessmen, and other stakeholders, to develop low-carbon products and create a new society called the Low Carbon Society. The construction industry contributes 30% of total carbon emissions, a significant amount, and we aim to help mitigate this. We would like to extend our invitation to those interested to join us on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 15:00 to 22:00 at The Banquet Hall at Nathong. You can pre-register at the Kemrex website, www.kemrex.com. Let's unite to create a green construction society together," Mr. Prasert invited.
